Kiawah Island Fishing
March 19-24th Myself and Capt Zach fished everyday this week except Sunday. We have both had some really good days and a couple of slow days, mostly catching redfish and sheepshead, with a few: black drum, trout and flounder. Highlights of the week Capt Zach had a trip where they caught over 35 redfish, and I had a day with new clients and they caught 11 redfish and 28 sheepshead. The bite has been hit or miss, but when it is on it has been on fire. Most of our trips this week have been fishing waters surrounding Kiawah Island and Folly Beach with a couple of charters going out of Charleston, SC. We have been doing well on live shrimp and crabs and also throwing Zman sort plastics and a few reds on the fly. Hopefully the wind will lay down soon and temps will start to warm up. tight lines, Affinity Charters

Kiawah Island Fishing
Mid March, we have fished everyday this week and typical Spring we are battling the wind. Temps have been a little cooler than normal, but the redfish have been happy. Myself and Capt Zach have been doing well this week mostly with red drum. The slowest trip of the week was a just after the front and we boated 4 redfish and a flounder , but the average trip for the week has been 20 plus reds with one day we caught around 40. The water temp has been between 55-59 all week and the redfish have been eating : crab, shrimp and minnows and we have been doing well on Zman and gulp baits as well. Early in the week we mostly have been fishing around Charleston waters and 2nd half mainly around Kiawah Island and Folly Beach.
